New tenant in Roosevelt 7/8 Office Building

Carl Schaefer, the German gold and silver refinery company decided to upgrade its space and relocate to Roosevelt 7/8 Office Building, that suits its image – Colliers International Hungary’s Office Agency informed the OGH News Agency.

Since its foundation in 1861, the name of Carl Schaefer has stood for quality, service and reliability in its dealings with precious metals – from the economic and trusted recycling of materials containing precious metals, through the production and sale of individual, customer-specific semi-finished precious metals, to complete precious-metal management.

Referring to its light green color, the original Roosevelt 7/8 was known in Budapest as the “Spinach House.” Following a thorough renovation, the building was re-opened in 2006. It now joins the adjacent Gresham Palace and the Academy of Sciences to form a unique ensemble of magnificent architecture representing various centuries. While Roosevelt 7/8’s ground floor offers a variety of shops, restaurants and bars, its upper levels accommodate modern office spaces.

„Roosevelt 7/8 office building was the ideal solution that supported the requirements of the Hungarian affiliate company, who will occupy its new office space of 225 sqm from October 2013.” – informed Horizon Development, who acted on behalf of the landlord.
