Asset Manager appointed at Orco Property Group’s Budapest Office

Orsolya Bánfi joins the local team on December 3rd, to take on the Asset Management responsibilities at the Hungarian office of Orco Property Group. The finance and real estate professional manages the asset operation of the Budapest portfolio of the Group to ensure optimal performance and value maximisation.

Ms. Bánfi brings 10 years of industry experience, having worked extensively in finance and real estate asset management since 2003, while also gained experience in the medical and real estate sectors earlier on.

 

Ms. Bánfi began her professional career in 1998 at Róna & Társai Rt, the Fund advisor of the First Hungary Fund Limited. She then worked at Drager Medical Kft in 2003. She started working in the real estate sector at Euro-Fund III. Kft., the property manager of Bank Center and Metrotech office buildings and various other retail units. In 2007, she joined Portico Investments as Head of Finance and Asset Management of the Hungarian real estate portfolio. In 2010, she became Head of Finance and Administration at Villa Budapest.

 

Ms. Bánfi graduated in 1997 as an economist from the College for Commerce, Catering and Tourism in Budapest, where she obtained a degree as commerce teacher in 1998. She became a certified accountant in 2002. She obtained her MBA in Finance and Information Technology from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Besides her native Hungarian, Ms. Bánfi speaks English and studied Italian.
