35,500 square metres leased in Teresin

ProLogis (NYSE:PLD), the leading global provider of distribution facilities, announced today that it has signed a new lease agreement for 35,500 square metres of modern warehouse space at ProLogis Park Teresin with Solid Logistics, a provider of comprehensive import and export logistics services in all modes of transport, on domestic and international routes.

Under the new lease agreement, Solid Logistics will occupy 8,500 square metres of space in Building One and 27,000 square metres in Building Two at ProLogis Park Teresin located 40 kilometres west of the Warsaw city centre, directly next to the E-30 road from Warsaw to Berlin. The leased space will be used to provide logistics services for the white goods producer. With this transaction, Solid Logistics now leases 63,000 square metres of warehouse space at four ProLogis distribution parks in Poland.

“With this transaction, we want to consolidate distribution operations for one of our key customers in a single location”, explained Jarosław Dłużak, Warehouse Logistics Manager, Solid Logistics. “We will be able to streamline the distribution processes to ensure that goods are delivered on time and stock levels are kept under control.”

“This is already the fourth ProLogis park where Solid Logistics runs their operations”, said Dariusz Proniewicz, leasing manager ProLogis, Poland. “A lease expansion with a customer within a single park is already an achievement but when a customer decides to base the majority of its operations on facilities offered by a single warehouse provider, it is a great success. We are proud that Solid Logistics once again chose to partner with our company”.

ProLogis Park Teresin consists of six buildings totalling 160,000 square metres. With access to its own railway siding and nearby highways, the park offers excellent transportation opportunities that enable efficient distribution of goods both to the domestic market and to markets in Central and Eastern Europe and Russia.

Other ProLogis customers at the Park include DHL, Schenker and Viva Manufacturing.

ProLogis’ portfolio in the Warsaw market includes nine distribution parks (39 buildings) totalling approximately 765,000 square metres of warehouse space available in the following strategic locations: Warsaw, Janki, Nadarzyn, Błonie, Teresin and Sochaczew.
