NTA REACHES TERESIN BY TRAIN

Warsaw, Poland – March 25, 2011 – ProLogis (NYSE: PLD), a leading global provider of distribution facilities, announced today that it has signed a new lease agreement for 6,000 square metres of warehouse space at ProLogis Park Teresin with NTA, a provider of international freight forwarding services.

NTA provides comprehensive transport and freight handling services for maritime logistics via Polish seaports Gdynia/Gdańsk and Szczecin as well as rail and road freight forwarding services.

“Besides hard work, right people on right positions are the principles of growth and development,” concluded Grzegorz Brzostowski, president for NTA. “Add to it modern warehouse facilities, excellent communication conditions and strategic location from the logistic perspective – and we could not choose a better warehouse space provider than ProLogis.”

“The rail served facility was our key advantage and the deciding factor for signing the agreement,” said Wojciech Kosiór, vice president leasing for ProLogis Poland. “In addition to Teresin, ProLogis also has two other distribution parks with direct access to a side-track in Poland: in Sochaczew and Dąbrowa Górnicza. Looking at rail transport as an alternative to road transport is perfectly in line with the sustainable development programs implemented by some of our customers.”

ProLogis Park Teresin consists of six buildings totalling 160,000 square metres. With access to its own side-track and strategic location, the park offers excellent transport opportunities that enable efficient distribution of goods both to the domestic market and to markets in Central and Eastern Europe and Russia.

Other ProLogis customers at the Park include DHL, Rhenus Contract Logistics, Schenker and Viva Manufacturing.

ProLogis’ portfolio in the Warsaw market includes nine distribution parks (39 buildings) totalling approximately 750,000 square metres of warehouse space available in the following strategic locations: Warsaw, Janki, Nadarzyn, Błonie, Teresin, Sochaczew.
