Prologis Poland Launches New Business Development Team

Prologis, Inc., the leading global owner, operator and developer of industrial real estate, today announced the creation of a new business development team in Poland to focus on customer needs relating to four new projects across the country.

In response to the increased demand for build-to-suit (BTS) solutions and pre-leases, Prologis Poland is re-energizing it’s development team and putting additional leadership and resources to focus on the implementation of new development, monetising the company’s land bank and realising new projects in core markets located in Stryków, Poznań, Wrocław and Chorzów where the company can deliver up to 568,000 square metres of industrial space as well as pursuing other new development opportunities as they become available. Prologis has historically been the pre-eminent developer of modern industrial parks and facilities throughout CEE and in particular Poland and the plan is intended to respond to rising customer demand and an increasingly supply constrained environment in the core logistics hubs and corridors of Poland, as favourable market conditions would continue to fuel our customers’ needs for modern, sustainable facilities that are the mainstay of Prologis’ delivery capability.

“Clients expect rapid and reliable information, a competitive price offer and the latest in technology for new distribution facilities,” said the project originator, Bartosz Mierzwiak, vice president & market officer for Prologis, Poland. “The creation of the new business development team brings together our expertise and experience in tailored development projects and our ability to meet the needs of our clients across various industries. The customer-focused team will comprise both commercial and technical experts and will work on the project from conception to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered in line with expectations, on time and within budget.”

Ewa Zawadzka, a senior leasing manager with Prologis for over five years, will lead the team as a business development director and will be supported by Kris Pauwels, an international specialist in BTS projects and vice president & account manager at Prologis, and Marek Fisher, business development project manager with thirty years of experience in real estate facilities development and seven years’ experience at Prologis.

“I am glad that the business development team has been built from associates within our company,” added Bartosz Mierzwiak. “Each team member has a thorough understanding of the working standards of Prologis and the goals that are ahead of us. Over the last three years we have worked hard on bringing forward core sites for development across Poland and these are now ready to be launched. This team will dedicate itself to the successful completion of these projects.”
