ProLogis Park Wroclaw III Packed

ProLogis (NYSE: PLD), a leading global provider of distribution facilities, announced today that it has signed three new lease agreements totalling more than 15,000 square metres at ProLogis Park Wrocław III located near the Wrocław Ring Road junction, 7 kilometres south-east of the city centre, in Graniczna street.

New lease transactions include:

•    7,650 square metres of warehouse space in Building Five leased to Selena, globally-operating holding based on Polish capital which manufactures and distributes construction chemicals;

•    4,730 square metres of space in Building Two will be occupied by Farutex, a nation-wide distributor of food products for the HoReCa sector. Jones Lang LaSalle acted as the agent for the transaction;


•    2,777 square metres was leased to Deichmann–Obuwie, the Polish branch of the largest network of footwear stores in Europe. Following this transaction, Deichmann-Obuwie leases 13,250 square metres at the park. Colliers International real estate agency facilitated the negotiation of the lease agreement.

It demonstrates that our warehouse facilities offer virtually unlimited possibilities of use and flexibility.”

ProLogis Park Wrocław III currently consists of four buildings with the total warehouse space of 135,000 square metres. Additional ProLogis customers at the park include: Asplex (Acer), Curylo Asterix, DHL, Emperia Holding, Intercars, Pol Mat, Sonoco Poland and Uldo Polska.

ProLogis is the largest provider of distribution facilities in the Wrocław region, with the portfolio of four distribution parks (16 buildings) totalling 371,000 square metres of space. In addition, in March of this year ProLogis launched the development of the fifth park in the region with a build-to-suit warehouse facility totalling 20,000 square metres. Building delivery is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2011. The facility is strategically located adjacent to Wrocław’s future ring road, 3 kilometres southwest of the Wrocław Bielany junction, between the A4 expressway that goes from Berlin to Ukraine and route E261. ProLogis will utilize 70 hectares of land it owns for this and future developments, enabling up to 290,000 square metres of development.
