Prologis Strengthens its Relationship with DHL with New Lease in Poland

Prologis, Inc. the leading global owner, operator and developer of industrial real estate, announced today that it has signed a new lease agreement for 33,800 square metres at Prologis Park Dąbrowa with DHL Exel Supply Chain, part of the world’s leading mail and logistics group, Deutsche Post DHL.

DHL is one of Prologis’ largest customers globally. Including this transaction, the company leases more than 1.1 million square metres of space in Prologis distribution centres across Europe, Asia and North America.

CBRE Polska facilitated the transaction.

Prologis Park Dąbrowa is a modern distribution centre consisting of ten warehouses and office buildings totalling 144,000 square metres. The major transport routes nearby include the S1 express road with direct access to the A4 motorway and the Pyrzowice International Airport. Dąbrowa Górnicza also has an extensive railway network with access to Warsaw-Katowice line (VI Pan-European corridor) and Broad Gauge Metallurgy Line terminal in Sławków.

Other customers in the park include: 7R Solution, ABRA, ANL, Euro-Pegaz Logistyka, FIEGE, GTX HANEX PLASTIC, Kamis, Magna Automotive Poland, Premium, and Rhenus Contract Logistics.

Prologis is the largest provider of industrial real estate in the Upper Silesia region with five distribution parks and 27 buildings totalling more than 526,000 square metres as of December 31, 2011.
