Mirrors at ProLogis Park Hegyeshalom

BUDAPEST – March 17, 2011 – ProLogis (NYSE: PLD), the leading global provider of distribution facilities, announced today that it leased 9,400 square metres of warehouse space at ProLogis Park Hegyeshalom to SMR Automotive Mirror Technology Hungary, a supplier of mirrors and blind spot detection systems for all passenger vehicles produced by nearly every carmaker in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia.

SMR Automotive Mirror Technology will occupy 9,400 square metres in the first building at ProLogis Park Hegyeshalom, a state-of-the-art industrial park located in western Hungary’s “magic triangle” (between Vienna, Bratislava and Győr), providing easy access to Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest via the M1 and M15 motorways. With this transaction the park is 86% leased, with only a single unit available for leasing.

ProLogis Park Hegyeshalom currently comprises one building totaling 23,100 square meters. The potential future development of the park totals five facilities comprising an additional 150,000 square meters of state-of-the-art distribution space. Other ProLogis customers at the park include ETL Hungary and FIEGE.

ProLogis’ portfolio in Hungary totals more than 495,000 square metres of warehouse space and includes six parks located in the greater Budapest area (Gyál, Harbor Park, Százhalombatta, Szigetszentmiklós, Budaörs) and Hegyeshalom.
