Ericsson is moving to new Headquarters

Népliget Center was chosen as the new Headquarters of Ericsson with the assistance of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Tenant Representation division.

Ericsson`s Laborc street operations will move to the B building of Népliget Center on the 1st of February, while Ericsson R&D Center stays at Science Park..


Jones Lang LaSalle acted as an advisor of the telecommunication company, Ericsson in the preparation of their office search by analyzing several locations and buildings. As a result of the negotiations, the new building of the well known Swedish real estate developer, Skanska, was selected. In July 2010 Ericsson signed a long-term lease agreement for 6,300 m2 office and some additional storage space.

Népliget Center’s 3 office blocks were built in two phases and offer more than 25.000 m2 ’A’ Grade office place. This project has won the Green Building certificate confirming that many green solutions were taken for environmental sustainability.
Maria Starmann, Head of the Tenant Representation of Jones Lang LaSalle said: “The good public transportation, cost effectiveness as well as the expansion possibilities within the building were the major requirements of Ericsson.
