10,800 square meters of toys arrive at ProLogis Park Bratislava
ProLogis (NYSE: PLD), a leading global provider of distribution facilities, announced today that it has leased 10,800 square meters of warehouse space at ProLogis Park Bratislava to Dráčik-DUVI, the largest retail toy dealer in Slovakia. With this transaction, ProLogis Park Bratislava is 96 percent leased.
Dráčik-DUVI will occupy 10,800 square meters of distribution space in Building Five at ProLogis Park Bratislava, a state-of-the-art logistics park in one of Slovakia’s largest industrial zones. Dráčik-DUVI is the country’s leading toy distributor with 450 employees and has been in operation since 1991. The company operates more then 70 shops in Slovakia, which are located in shopping centres across the country, and over 30 shops in the Czech Republic.

“We have expanded our sales network in Slovakia and the Czech Republic in order to keep up with the ever increasing consumer demand for our broad range of toys from the world’s leading manufacturers,” said Igor Prochác, Dráčik-DUVI business manager. “Consequently, we now require additional warehouse space of the highest quality, in strategic locations and managed by professionals. ProLogis Park Bratislava met all of our requirements.”

ProLogis Park Bratislava is located east of Bratislava, 24 kilometers from the city center, two kilometers from Senec and 16 kilometers from the city’s international airport. The site can be accessed easily via the first motorway exit after Bratislava on the E75 motorway (Bratislava-Zilina) and is connected to European Corridor 4, which leads to Trnava.
ProLogis Park Bratislava currently consists of six buildings totaling approximately 183,000 square meters of warehouse space. Once fully developed, the park will have eight buildings totaling more than 290,000 square meters of industrial space.
