Smashing December for ProLogis

Warsaw, Poland – February 7, 2011 – ProLogis (NYSE: PLD), the leading global provider of distribution facilities, announced that in December the company signed new lease agreements for 48,700 square metres of warehouse space. Thanks to the lease transaction with LOXX, the German group of forwarding enterprises offering international transport, domestic distribution and logistics services, ProLogis Park Warsaw II is now fully leased.

Deichmann, LOXX, Pepco, Papyrus and two customers representing the international media and the automotive industry respectively are the companies that signed new lease agreements for distribution space at ProLogis’ parks in Poland in December 2010. Pepco, a nationwide discount store chain with apparel and daily durables, has leased 12,600 square metres of space in ProLogis Park Rawa and became the first client of the park. The company Papyrus, a wholesaler of paper and packaging materials, and an international media corporation, have taken up 18,000 square metres of space in total at ProLogis Park Błonie, the distribution centre located 25 kilometres from Warsaw.

In December, new lease agreements were signed also at ProLogis parks in the Silesia region. Deichmann, a footwear store chain, has leased almost 10,500 square metres of space at ProLogis Park Wrocław III, and a leading global supplier for the automotive industry, has taken up 3,555 square metres at the ProLogis’ distribution facility in Dąbrowa Górnicza.
