ProLogis leases 4350 square meters to Movianto in Slovakia
ProLogis (NYSE: PLD), a leading global provider of distribution facilities, announced today that it has leased 4,350 square meters of warehouse space at ProLogis Park Bratislava to The Movianto Group, one of the major European contract logistics service providers to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and healthcare industry.
Movianto will occupy 4,350 square meters of distribution space in Building 6 at ProLogis Park Bratislava, a state-of-the-art logistics park in a prime location, one of Slovakia’s of biggest industrial zones. Movianto is part of Celesio AG, a € 21,8 billion turnover healthcare distribution group and the market leader in Europe; with wholesale subsidiaries in 15 countries and pharmacy chains in 9 countries. Movianto, as a pre-wholesale unit of Celesio, is represented in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain and the United Kingdom.

ProLogis Park Bratislava is located east of Bratislava, 24 kilometers from the city center, two kilometers from Senec and 16 kilometers from the international air-port. The site can be accessed easily via the first motorway exit after Bratislava on the E75 motorway (Bratislava-Zilina) and is connected to the European Corridor 4 leading to Trnava. The park currently consists of six buildings totaling nearly 183,000 square meters of warehouse space. The fully developed park will comprise eight buildings totaling more than 290,000 square meters of industrial space.
ProLogis’ portfolio in Slovakia consists of three distribution parks – ProLogis Park Bratislava, ProLogis Park Nové Mesto and ProLogis Park Galanta-Gán – comprising of twelve buildings for a total of more than 386,000 square meters of distribution space.
