Munich, here we come!
After MIPIM and Real Vienna in the spring, the autumn is dedicated to Expo Real. This year Budapest participates in the trade fair held from the 4 to 6 October 2011 for the fourth time where the cooperation of the City of Budapest, the Budapest Business Region and the HITA – Hungarian Investment and Trade Agency – the former ITD Hungary – can be considered as traditional.
Since 2008, this will be the largest Budapest-BBR-HITA attendancein Munich in a total of 107 square meters of exhibition area. The slogan of this year – ’Budapest – Flow Within’ – is based on multiple associations: on the one hand it calls to join the big city life and the business buzz of Budapest but at the same time it refers to the constantly flowing Danube, the crossing artery of the metropolis, whose silhouette appears int he background wall, the major decoration surface of the stand.
The Municipality of Budapest will be represented on the highest level at the German trade fair and it is committed to the participation at the conference programmes as well. In Munich the Capital city presents its two major projects: the ’Gas Factory of Obuda’ and the ’New City Center – Etele Square’. On behalf of the Hungarian real estate sector 8 companies participate at the trade fair introducing 21 projects.
Not only does the stand size increase, but also the standprogramme gets richer in 2011. On the 5th of October panel discussions and lectures will be held focusing on the current economic situation of Hungary, the urban strategy and the real estate business, but particular attention will be given to Kecskemet region and the Daimler’s investment as well.
Continuing the tradition B’ my guEST wine tasting will be held again at Expo Real. Beside the networking event in the evening the new element of the stand programme is our breakfast event called „Croissant & Champagne” sponsored by CBS Property, so participants interested in Budapest region can start and finish their day at the Budapest stand.
At international trade fairs Budapest takes the opportunity year by year to present innovative solutions and Hungarian patents to its audience. This will not be different this year either: the great attraction of Expo Real will be the Stringbike, known as chainless bike produced by Schwinn-Csepel, which can be tried by our adventurous guests.
Elemer Eszter, managing director of Studio Metropolitana respesenting Budapest Capital summarized the essence of Budapest’s attendance of this year as follows:
’The positive tendencies of the Hungarian real estate sector can be already felt, our prior aim is to present to the foreign investors that Budapest investments do offer real perspectives. Budapest Capital prefers mostly long-term investments as it is also shown by the two presented projects.’
’BBR’s contribution in Munich is the integration of several quality projects with success, thereby completing Budapest’s offer with an internationally competitive business portfolio.’– added Balint Nemeth, member of Budapest Business Region’s presidency.
