CBRE: Gábor Borbély Head of Research and Consulting

CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) has announced that as of 1st August, 2011 Gábor Borbély is promoted as Head of Research and Consulting at the Budapest office of the world’s leading property advisor.

Gabor Borbély joined CBRE’s Budapest office in 2006 as market research analyst. Four years later he continued to work for CBRE as senior analyst for the CEE Research & Consulting team, being part of an international team with the responsibility of co-ordinating research activities across eleven countries in the region. As a qualified economist he began his analyst career in Prague.

Besides analysing the Hungarian real estate market, Gabor is charged with stabilising and expanding the consulting department as of 1st August.  Adrienne Konthur, managing director at CBRE Budapest added when announcing the promotion: ”In the course of the recovery period following the crisis we need a new approach and we should diversify the services offered to our clients. Gabor has lent himself particularly well, proving to be competent with both local and international clients in the past years, which is essential to develop our consulting department.”
