Prologis Renews More Than 300,000 Square Metres In Q2 In CEE

Prologis, Inc, the leading global owner, operator and developer of industrial real estate, informed today that in the second quarter of 2011 it extended lease agreements totalling more than 300,000 square metres in Central & Eastern Europe.

Prologis’ second quarter renewals across the region include large lease extensions in Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia. These renewals come on the heels of a positive first quarter in which the Slovak portfolio was fully leased, three build to suit projects were announced and additional significant new leases were signed since the beginning of the year.

“Prologis places an emphasis on superior long-term relationships with our customers, and these lease extensions confirm that our top-quality service standards and the extensive network of warehouse facilities are beneficial to our customers’ businesses,” said Ben Bannatyne, Prologis managing director for Central and Eastern Europe.
