On the 10th of February at the Europaproperty CEE Retail Real Estate Awards for 2010, Jones Lang LaSalle was awarded the CEE Retail Agent of the Year 2010. The firm was chosen by a panel of judges ranging from developers, landlords, banks and retail occupiers active in the retail industry across the CEE region.

Beatrice Mouton, Regional Director, Head of Retail CEE at Jones Lang LaSalle commented: “In these challenging times, this award is an achievement and recognition from the industry of the professionalism, creativity and enthusiasm of the consultancy and leasing teams but a common effort extending to the other teams from retail investment, valuations, property management and research. We share this award with all our clients and thank them for their loyalty, trust and belief in our retail capability for the past 19 years in the CEE region. Our success is their success.”

Melinda Sipos, Interim Head of the Budapest Retail Department said: „The Budapest Retail Agency’s performance was outstanding throughout 2010 despite the unfavourable market conditions. Paralell with the leasing of Corvin Shopping Centre, which was opened last autumn, the team handled the letting of KÖKI Terminal too. The leasing negotiations of KÖKI Terminal continue this year along with several other ongoing leasing mandates. Having increased volume of leasing instructions, our leasing department has been expanded with Krisztián Házi who joined our team at the beginning of this year. Krisztián has nearly 10 years experience in the real estate industry; he started at Cushman&Wakefield in 2002 and worked for CPB Hungária and A1 Real Estate before joining Jones Lang LaSalle. Our team has been stengthened by a new member to provide the highest quality service to our Clients in 2011.”
