ProLogis leases 9,600 square meters in Teresin

ProLogis (NYSE: PLD), a leading global provider of distribution facilities, announced today it has leased 9,600 square meters of warehouse space at ProLogis Park Teresin to an international manufacturer of packaging for optical data carriers.

The company currently leases 24,000 square meters of modern warehouse space at ProLogis Park Teresin, a modern distribution complex located 40 kilometers from the Warsaw city center, directly on the E-30 route connecting Warsaw and Berlin. The customer will now occupy an additional 9,600 square meters of distribution space at the same park.

“It’s fair to say that clients typically trust the experts,” said Wojciech Kosiór, ProLogis leasing manager for Poland. “This simple sentence very aptly conveys our strategy on the logistics market. We are proud that we successfully initiated a relationship with this customer to start out, and that we can help it grow its business. We are very happy that our distribution space has fitted perfectly, both in location and business terms, into our client’s growth strategy.”

ProLogis Park Teresin comprises six buildings for a total of approximately 160,000 square meters. The park has access to its own side-track railway, giving ProLogis customers intermodal transportation options. The distribution center also offers ideal distribution routes, enabling efficient access to both the local markets and to the Central and Eastern Europe or Russia.

Additional ProLogis customers at ProLogis Park Teresin include DHL, Rhenus Contract Logistics, Schenker and TCL Operations.

ProLogis is a leading provider of distribution space in Poland with a 2.1-million-square-meter portfolio at 25 distribution parks throughout the country. In Central and Eastern Europe, ProLogis has a portfolio totaling 3.7 million square meters at 41 distribution parks.
